Sacraments of the Church
1. Baptism - This service, offered by every parish priest, welcomes the person into the communion.
2. Confirmation - The mature Christian reaffirms his or her baptismal vows and makes a personal commitment to follow Jesus Christ.
3. The Eucharist - Confirmed Christians receive the body and blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
In this diocese, the normal sequence in the administration of the initiatory rites is Holy Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist.
Church Life
1. Prayers and Worship - Personal prayer and congregation worship are two ways in which Christians discern the will of God in their lives.
2. Funerals - This is a time for grieving family and friends to come together in prayers and thanksgiving for the life of their loved one.

Parochial Life
- Deaneries - The Diocese of Rift Valley has 12 Deaneries. Each deanery has its own deanery council with membership of all clergy licensed to parishes in the deanery, plus elected gender sensitive lay members from each parish. The deanery is overseen by an Area Dean (a clergy).
- Parishes - There are 46 parishes in the Diocese.
- Churches - There are 267 congregations.
